The Cutting Edge exists as a guild so that its members can have fun together and help each other have more fun together.

Recruitment is currently not restricted by class or role.

If you'd like to join in the fun, please post in our Recruitment Thread and submit an application. If you're interested in raiding with us, our raid times can be seen on our calendar, so take a look first and see if we're compatible with your schedule.

This guild is a collection of widely diverse people. We have fallen and soared on the wings of our members throughout our history and still exist as a thriving guild with over 100 members (and three times as many characters!).

Raiding
We raid - effectively, efficiently and successfully - although raiding itself is not the sole reason for our existence. It’s a great way for lots of people to have fun together; therefore, it’s desirable to do. While we do expect a standard of performance from those that choose to raid, raiding/playing ability does not determine your rank or desirability in the guild.

Apparently the Firelands had an infestation of glowing spiders. The Cutting Edge was called in to exterminate, and did so with extreme prejudice.

Hiding in the webs we found a nice dress for a squishy damage dealer ([Robes of Smoldering Devastation]). Rinar also decided to cut off one of the queen's giant mandibles and use it for a tanking weapon ([Mandible of Beth'tilac]).

Here we are, standing over the extinguished corpse of the queen, Beth'tilac.
